The future is full of surprises and around every corner is an unexpected experience that you never thought you'd encounter. It is impossible to completely plan out your future, but you can set goals for the future.
In one year: In one year I want to be graduated from Pine River High School and on my way to Grand Valley State University. College will be expensive, but I plan to apply for as many scholarships as possible and use the good grades I earned in high school to help with the scholarships Grand Valley offers. I will also be getting a job near Grand Valley to help pay for college and other expenses.
In five years: In five years I want to be graduating from Grand Valley. I will be certified in secondary education with a major in math and a minor in physics or some other science related field. College will have been tough and I plan to study as much as I can, but I will also leave time to enjoy college and meet new people. I will balance studying and having fun, so I get good grades while having a good time.
In ten years: In ten years I want to have a steady job at a high school hopefully close to my home town. I will come home everyday to a nice house and husband if everything goes well. I might even have a child I need to pick up from daycare or school. In ten years I will be confidently cooking for my family and not asking my mom to come over every night to help me. In ten years I will be ready for whatever life has to offer.
